Explore Options from Our New Jersey Team
There is a lot more that goes into choosing an HVAC system than just finding options that fit your budget. Ideally, HVAC system design would help narrow down your search, and of course, working with an experienced HVAC service team can provide you with extra guidance, but overall, it’s important to choose your furnace, air conditioner, and other HVAC system components based on what is needed to keep your home comfortable all year. Start with the details below to learn a bit more about the brands we trust and work with, and then connect with the Davis Heating & Cooling team for individualized guidance in choosing all of the new or replacement parts needed for your HVAC system.
If you’ve wandered the aisles of your local home improvement store recently, you’ve seen the sheer volume of different options out there for different home appliances. Choosing a new washer and dryer can be hard enough, and you probably go into that process knowing the features you need. Looking for new HVAC elements can feel a lot more overwhelming since most homeowners don’t actually know what features to look for in a new furnace or air conditioner. Sure, you may know you want an EnergyStar rated air conditioner, or you may have an idea of how large a furnace you need, but choosing between all of the different options and narrowing down by their features can be tough. And, unlike other home appliances, choosing your HVAC components will have a long-lasting impact on the whole house. It’s not just making sure your clothes or dishes get fully clean, your HVAC system is responsible for making sure your New Jersey home will get nice and toasty on freezing winter days and keeping it cool all summer long.
The good news is that it can be just as easy to find the right products for your HVAC system when you know what your home needs — and that’s what our team of HVAC pros are here to help you with! Below are the brands we carry for everything from the main furnace and air conditioner to the blowers and other elements that bring an HVAC system to life. Explore the brands and products below to see why these are the trusted HVAC companies we choose to work with.
Lennox provides a full range of HVAC products including the expected furnaces and air conditioner units, but they also create all the additional components needed to make those systems run seamlessly. They offer things like heat pumps, boilers, garage heaters, air purifiers, and thermostats as well as comprehensive heating and cooling systems. You know they really take HVAC seriously because not only does Lennox come from the crazy heat of Texas, so you know they know their stuff, but they also provide commercial HVAC solutions as well as residential. It’s a hallmark of a knowledgeable company that produces effective products when they understand the ins and outs of keeping large commercial properties temperate, so it stands to reason that the same understanding also translates to seamless, effective home heating and cooling options.
Mitsubishi Electric’s heating and cooling solutions are all about giving you better control over your home’s temperature. Their assortment of indoor and outdoor cooling products are designed with the flexibility you need to make sure every room in your home is properly heated and cooled — no more cold spots during the winter or muggy rooms you avoid all summer. The other really big aspect of Mitsubishi Electric’s products specifically is that they offer an array of options that work well no matter what your home’s size or layout are. Find options that can be added into a single room, or for whole-house HVAC solutions that fit your needs and make it easy to get the temperature control you crave.
This is not a company, but a brand made by Lennox. Healthy Climate Solutions™ offers the same high-quality effective solutions as their parent company, but they pour even more focus into developing solutions for air quality issues. The Healthy Climate Solutions products focus foremost on air filtration and air purification options, which are great for helping those with allergies and other respiratory issues breathe easier. Their air purification systems also help keep odors out of the air, which is especially helpful for older homes and busier areas that experience more external air pollution. You can also expect to find ideal solutions for balancing air purity with humidity, giving you control to fight mildew issues without totally drying out your home.
As their name implies, Burnham by U.S. Boiler Company focuses primarily on boilers and other home heating solutions. If you’re interested in, say, a tankless water heater for your home, or simply want a more efficient option to power your heating system, Burnham by U.S. Boiler Company almost certainly has the solution. And, since they focus in on one specific subset of home HVAC components, the boilers/heating unit, you can trust that they are continually working to provide better and more efficient options.
Ecobee is not specifically an HVAC system creator; they make smart-home devices that give you greater connections to and control of your HVAC system. Ecobee provides products like smart thermostats, which give you control over your home’s temperature anywhere you have an internet connection. They also make other smart-home automation devices, including sensors and cameras, so you can have greater control over what happens in your home. They also make air filters for your HVAC system, which are meant to complement the ecobee smart thermostat and help keep your system running more efficiently.
Honeywell’s residentially focused products are all aimed at making your home as comfortable as you want. Their HVAC products include things like whole-house humidifiers and dehumidifiers, ventilation, and air purification products. Of course, comfort can take many forms, so not only do they provide HVAC system components that allow you to control the ambient air quality in your home, but they also provide some smart thermostat options and other automation devices so you can control and adjust those devices from wherever you choose. While Honeywell may not make the actual boilers and outdoor air conditioner units that serve as the base of the system, they offer the additions to provide excellent comfort.
Nest is another of the brands that isn’t, strictly speaking, an HVAC manufacturer. Nest, a sub-brand made by Google, provides a range of smart-home automation tools. They make smart thermostats that can be controlled by an app on smartphones and online, but the Nest devices can also be incorporated into an automated routine set and controlled by your smartphone assistant. For instance, if you want to save power, you can arrange to have your Nest thermostat adjust the temperature when your alarms go off in the morning, and then adjust back an hour before you get home. The Nest line also includes home security options that work in conjunction with a smartphone assistant.
Reme Halo® is a brand of whole-home air purification devices made by RGF Environmental Group, Inc. RGF® also makes various commercial equipment, and the Reme Halo air purifier is made for both residential and commercial HVAC use. This isn’t a typical air purification device, either. Where most air purification options are built into the HVAC system, the Reme Halo is actually an in-duct air purifier that works to clear impurities from the air as it’s pushed through the ductwork. The system was initially developed to combat “sick building syndrome,” and it was designed to function in the same way that nature’s processes work to purify the air, to bring a feeling of fresh air inside. They offer both commercial and residential in-duct air purification options.
If you’re looking for a seamless, customizable central air option, SpacePak may be the solution you need. Their air conditioning systems are designed to get rid of window units and bulky ductwork while quietly providing your entire home with comfortable temperatures. SpacePak central air systems are especially great for older homes and historic homes because they can be installed in existing homes without ripping through walls and retrofitting bulky ducts. Their air conditioning system can be placed in ceilings, walls, or floors to provide the least intrusive and most effective system possible based on your home’s needs.
Navien products are all about more efficient heating. They make boilers, water heaters, and combi-boilers (which provide both home heating and hot water for the house). Given their focus on efficiency, these home heating products can help keep your home delightfully warm and also help reduce your home heating system’s energy consumption. The Navien tankless boiler or combi-boiler can be set up as part of your heating system on its own, or it can be combined with their water heater for increased hot water on demand without impacting heating levels. And, since they’re smaller, wall-mounted systems, they take up much less space than the traditional boiler and/or water heater.
Like Navien, Weil-McLain specializes in boilers and other home heating elements. More specifically, Weil-McLain provides solutions for both residential and commercial properties, which means they create a range of different heating system elements that can help provide the right needs for a given space. Whether you need to retrofit new heating in an older home or add heating for a full commercial property, Weil-McLain products can offer the adjustable, energy-efficient solutions you need.
